REASONS TO LEAVE OUR COMFORT ZONE
Let's do a quick fact check on Tom Emmer.
What Emmer said on Fox Business: Ground beef costs "less than $2 a pound."
What federal price data shows: $6.92 a pound in August, more than three times what Emmer claimed, and 7.2% higher than a year ago.
What Minnesotans are paying at the pump: $4.38 a gallon for regular gas. $6.24 for diesel — a record high, driven up by a war in Iran that Emmer voted to keep us in.
What Tom Emmer has said about affordability concerns: "Nonsense." A "B.S. issue."
Either he is desperately lying, or he has spent so much time following our President around Washington that he genuinely has no idea what things cost in his district.

Hi, I’m a constituent calling from [zip]. My name is ______.
|
First, I’m thrilled that Sen. John Curtis (R-Utah) is demanding that the Senate Judiciary Committee investigate and subpoena Donald Trump Jr. over reports that his wedding after-party was paid for by a Russian oligarch close to Putin. I want the Senator to call for an investigation as well. We’re tired of the corruption. Republicans spent hundreds of hours on Hunter Biden’s laptop. This is worse. Second, I’m glad to hear that top Democrats on the House and Senate foreign affairs committees are going to try to block a $2.8 billion sale of 60,000 one-ton bombs to Israel. I expect EVERY Senator to oppose this sale. These bombs will be used for war crimes. We cannot allow it to happen. Finally, I know the Senate is about to vote on another Iran war powers resolution. Please ask the Senator to support it. This war needs to end, and now.
